
Dr. Kang Li

Dr. Kang Li is an Associate Professor from the College of Fisheries and Life Science of Shanghai Ocean University. He is a Master's Supervisor, and concurrently serves as Secretary-General of the Center for Ecological Aquaculture (CEA). He has been appointed as an Aquaculture Consultant for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), an expert on the FAO Non-Staff Human Resources (NSHR) Roster, and served as a member of the Chinese delegation to the FAO Committee on Fisheries (COFI). He was selected for the "National Postdoctoral International Exchange Program" Talent Introduction Project. His primary research focuses on fish reproductive biology and ecological aquaculture. To date, he has published over 40 academic papers in the field of aquaculture, with total citations exceeding 1,000 times. He holds 6 granted Chinese national invention patents and 1 U.S. national invention patent. In the past five years, he has led multiple national and international projects, including sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, the Foreign Expert Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the FAO Technical Cooperation Programme.
