Dr. Dandan Zhao
Assistant General Manager and Director of the R&D Department, Guangzhou Chengyi Aquaculture Co., Ltd.
She is currently the Assistant General Manager and Director of the R&D Department at Guangzhou Chengyi Aquaculture Co., Ltd., as well as the Director of the Guangdong Provincial Freshwater Fish Ecological Engineering Technology Research Center. With expertise in aquaculture innovation, she has led a National Key R&D Program special project on "Marine Agriculture and Freshwater Fisheries Technology Innovation" and contributed to another National Key R&D Program and two Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology projects. Dr. Zhao’s research portfolio includes 8 scientific papers published in domestic and international journals, 2 authorized invention patents, 5 utility model patents, and participation in drafting 2 group standards. Recognized for her contributions to agricultural technology, she received the First Prize of the Guangdong Agricultural Technology Extension Award and the Zhong Lin Aquatic Seed Industry Science and Technology Award. Her lead-developed "345" Healthy Aquaculture Technology for Grass Carp has been Guangzhou’s primary agricultural promotion technology for three years since 2021, while her "1+6" Multi-Trophic Integrated Aquaculture Technology in Grass Carp Ponds was designated as Guangzhou’s primary agricultural technology in 2024.
