Jun Xie
CEO, ZeHui Aquaculture (GuangZe) Co., Ltd
Born in 1987, graduated from the School of Software at Northeastern University. With over a decade of cross-industry project management experience, he has been involved in software development, marine fuel services, and real estate development.
In 2016, following the group's business transformation, he entered the aquaculture industry, leading the implementation of China’s first large-scale RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) eel farming project.
From 2017 to 2018, he led a team on research visits to leading RAS design firms, equipment suppliers, and aquaculture farms in South Korea, Japan, Denmark, Norway, and Spain. This effort culminated in a partnership with Billund Aquaculture from Denmark, bringing advanced international RAS technology and equipment to China.
Between 2019 and 2021, he led the team through site selection, design, and construction, overcoming challenges such as technology transfer and talent shortages to ensure the project's successful completion.
In early 2022, the project entered trial operations with a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan and an annual output of 6,000 tons, establishing itself as an industry benchmark.
